**Overview**
**Responsibilities**
- Operate saws and cutting machines, including CNC and laser cutting equipment, to cut materials accurately.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications for cuts.
- Perform routine maintenance on saws and related machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Monitor the quality of cut materials, making adjustments as necessary to meet production standards.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and maintain a safe working environment.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to cutting processes.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety protocols.
**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Saw Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment is advantageous.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Familiarity with programming CNC machines and operating milling machines is a plus.
- Experience with press brake machines is beneficial for this position.
