Position Summary:
**Tacten is currently recruiting for Pipefitters with IRATA certification**. If you are seeking a dynamic industrial environment with opportunities for individual growth and learning, this is for you.

This position will provide support to a project in Eastern British Columbia
- Start date approximately April 1, 2024
- Salary CA$45.00/hr based on certifications
- Travel and accommodations may be provided

**Responsibilities**:

- Installation and assembling of piping systems.
- Interpreting blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and dimensions of the pipes
- Identifying and fixing leaks, replacing damaged pipes, and performing routine inspections to ensure the integrity of the system
- Testing and ensuring the quality of pipe installations

**Requirements**:

- Journeyman Pipefitter or registered apprentice card
- IRATA Level 1 or 2 certification
- Current safety certifications as required in BC

**Core Competencies**
- Strong work ethics
- Ability to maintain positive working relations with clients
- Exceptional safety and quality awareness
- Ability to solve problems and manage time effectively
- Self-motivated and capable of working at a high technical and performance level
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driver's abstract
