- **Employee Supervision**
- Provides direction and guidance to Concrete Plant Supervisor and other employees
- Maximizes the efficient utilization of all employees
- Ensures employees adhere to company Policies and safe working practices
- Holds regular safety meetings and maintains a safe working environment
- **Sales**
- Provides industrial, commercial and residential quotations
- Knows local market area - competition, price levels, and construction activity and future projects
- Knows local contractors, government agencies and such other groups that purchase concrete
- Prepares and monitors budgets. Ensures sales volumes and margins are met or exceeded
- **Operations Supervision**
- Ensures concrete deliveries are prompt, efficient, and to specifications
- Ensures concrete plant, mixers and gravel trucks are utilized in an efficient and cost-effective manner and in conjunction with other areas
- Coordinates repair and maintenance of equipment
- **Quality Assurance**
- Ensures standard and specifications are met or surpassed
- Resolves customer complaints and problems as quickly as possible
- Maintains high standard of workmanship
- Implements use of new technologies and products as required
- **Company Image, Customer and Employee Relations**
- Ensures buildings and equipment are neat, clean and well maintained
- Motivates employees to be neat, courteous and professional
- Contributes to positive work environment and builds employee morale
- Develops good customer, public and community relations
- Cooperates and works with other Departments

- 10+ Years Concrete Industry Experience
- Experienced in all aspects of plant management - production, maintenance, quality, safety
- Excellent Leadership and Managerial Skills
- Strong customer focus
- Excellent people skills - able to develop effective working relationships internally and externally
- Strong work ethic
- Any related/additional experiences/qualifications would be considered assets.

**WORK CONDITIONS**
- Work is performed in at BURNCO’s designated office
