Sqc Technician

**Basic Function**

To perform sampling of incoming raw materials, bulk tankers, packaging components, and bulk product. To perform physical dimension testing of packaging components, and color and copy verification of printed packaging components against established standards. To deliver samples and documentation to the QC laboratory. To maintain SQC area in compliance with GMP requirements.

**Responsibilities**
- Responsible for confirming SQC Sampling Room environmental conditions, differential pressure, and HEPA filter performance are within established specifications prior to performing sampling activities on a daily basis.
- Daily calibration verification checks on the balances in the SQC area, recording results in log book. Any discrepancies are reported to area leadership.
- Ensure raw material and packaging component containers are in good condition; confirms that material titles, item numbers, receiving numbers and log numbers present on Trillium generated container labels are correct. Reports container damage or any irregularities in physical properties to area leadership.
- Prepares sample labels and paperwork.
- Samples raw materials, packaging components, and third party bulk receipts according to established procedures.
- Performs physical testing of packaging component samples against established specifications. Includes proofreading and copy verification for printed components (i.e. product labels). Reports any out of specification results or other issues associated with packaging components to area leadership.
- Delivers samples and documentation to Quality Control or QA, as required.
- Responsible for cleanliness of SQC Sampling Room, equipment, and performing or confirming daily cleaning by contract cleaning staff, and documentation in the SQC Sampling Room usage logbook.
- Creation/ modification of AWCPKG’s in absence of group leader.
- Maintain sufficient supplies to perform job function and re-order through QC process as required.
- Support sampling and testing activities in Prescott Warehouse as required by schedule.
- Other duties as required or assigned.
- Must be able to travel to Prescott 1 week a month.
