Litigation / Family Associate

Toews & Company is a busy and growing firm in beautiful Squamish, British Columbia. We are looking for a junior to mid-level associate to join our team living and working in the outdoor capital of Canada

Qualifications and Attributes
- Member in good standing with the LSBC
- Experience in a litigation or family law environment required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills, compassion and tact
- Friendly and personable
- Self-starter
- Able to manage competing priorities
- Eager to learn
- Professional judgment
- Takes pride in the quality of one’s work

We are looking for someone who’s in it for the long haul: a junior associate who wants to set down roots and build their practice in the Sea-to-Sky (and likely become a partner in the long-term). While ideally we’re looking for someone to commit to full-time hours, we understand that that may not be doable during all stages of your personal and professional life, so we’re open to alternative arrangements.
