Hardware Technician

**Role and Responsibilities**
**Responsibilities**:
- Debug and troubleshoot hardware and software problems originating in both the flight training devices and facility.
- Test, calibration of visual systems of a Full Flight Simulators.
- Test, calibration of the sound and audio system Respond to customers' training-related needs in a courteous and timely manner to ensure that flight training equipment is consistently reliable and available.
- Perform logístical/administrative duties as required.
- Shift work and international travel required (up to 6 months per year, approx. 2 weeks per trip).
**Your Profile**:
- DEC in Engineering Physics.
- Technical diploma or degree in aviation or electronics or equivalent relevant experience.
- Thorough understanding of computer/simulator architecture, particularly relationships between system components.
- Basic troubleshooting skills and knowledge of how to use electronic testing equipment.
- Strong customer focus and excellent customer service skills.
- Strong communication skills, particularly for technical information.
- Able to work alone or as part of a dynamic technical team.
- Experience in flight simulator or aviation environment an asset.
- Understanding of visual projector and auto calibration systems.
