Bilingual Accounts Receivable/payable Clerk

**Objectives of the Role**:

- Perform routine clerical accounting duties within a fast-paced finance department while adhering to established standards, policies or procedures.
- Assist with year-end audit requests.
- Execute accurate reporting, filing, and database management in the financial systems.

**Job Duties**:

- Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.
- Paying and entering invoices by verifying transaction information; scheduling and preparing disbursements; obtaining authorization of payment.
- Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information; computing charges and refunds; preparing and mailing invoices; identifying accounts and insufficient payments.
- Collects accounts receivable by reminding clients, notifying customers of insufficient payments.
- Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
- Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.
- Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.
- Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments, payments, or adjustments.
- Participate in month-end close activities, including preparation of journal entries and reconciliation of accounts.
- Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.
- Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Practice effective monitoring to ensure payments are made to vendors in a timely manner.
- Provide aging reports for collection and maintain follow up records for progress tracking.
- Ensuring the accuracy of organization’s financial documents for payments, receipts, auditing and tax purposes.
- Works with third party software for vendor invoices and uploading to accounting systems.

Pay: $34,182.72-$58,621.74 per year
