**Position Summary**:
Associate Faculty live on campus and enjoy being part of an on-campus, active learning community with an opportunity to experience mentorship and career development. Associate Faculty work within the Residential and Academic programs.

Associate Faculty duties are based on your individual strengths and experience. In addition to two or three weekdays of 24-hour residential coverage and one or two weekends a month of residential coverage, duties include but are not limited to:

Coaching/leading athletic or artistic co-curricular programs throughout the year- Rotating school duties including: teaching/classroom coverage, evening and weekend programming supervision, various on-campus student/spirit events, emergency hospital coverage

The Associate Faculty role is a paid contract position including health and dental benefits, professional development funding, as well as OTPP contributions for OCT qualified teachers. Most Associate Faculty apartments are attached to the residence while some live on campus in staff buildings. Each apartment includes living space, a bedroom and a bathroom. Food at the dining hall, access to our beautiful 315-acre lakefront campus and all of the facilities are included with the position.

**Qualifications and Experience**:- Undergraduate diploma and/or degree required-
- For teaching and co-teaching assignments a B.Ed. with I/S qualifications is required-
- Demonstrated ability to engage with teenagers and support them in their development and living the school’s values-
- Personal qualities:student-centered, collaborative, reflective, and receptive practitioner, able to inspire and motivate
-open-minded, resilient, empathetic, caring, and enthusiastic
-innovative - including cross-curricular integration appreciation
-flexible, ability to problem solve and think strategically
-strong interpersonal and communication skills, well developed professional judgment
- Previous experience in a residential camp or boarding school setting would be considered an asset
- Athletic or Artistic coaching experience would be preferred
- Current certification for First Aid, CPR/AED
- Second language proficiency is considered an asset
- NLS, WFA, and other outdoor qualifications are assets
