Framer/carpenter

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine framing requirements
- Measure, cut, and assemble wood or metal frames for buildings
- Install roof trusses, beams, and columns according to specifications
- Perform trim carpentry work, including installing doors, windows, and molding
- Repair or restore existing frames as needed
- Collaborate with other carpenters and construction professionals to ensure project completion

**Skills**:

- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics
- Strong knowledge of framing techniques and materials
- Experience in trim carpentry, including installation of doors, windows, and molding
- Familiarity with siding, stucco, and drywall installation is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor and work in various weather conditions

**Salary**: From $24.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Lakeshore, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- carpentry: 1 year (preferred)
