The Complex has integrated all aspects of health care, both public and private. The Queen Elizabeth Health Complex Diagnostic Imaging Center has been in operation since 1999 and offers a variety of imaging exams. The Center is an accredited breast center and also was approved by Canada Accreditation.

This part-time position requires basic knowledge of the medical field and strong proofreading skills. Our company is seeking an experienced Medical Transcriptionist to listen to recorded audio files and transcribe the content into written form. These files are often dictated by doctors, nurses, and other medical professionals, so a successful applicant will be able to clearly understand speech and type quickly and accurately.

**Responsibilities**:

- Transcribe dictation from audio tapes, optical disks, and digital files into computerized medical records.
- Prepare forms and reports.
- Communicate with physicians and medical staff.
- Evaluate medical terminology.
- Review medical history and diagnosis.
- Complete medical forms in accordance with insurance regulations.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 21 per week

**Salary**: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
