**Job description**

Our Hamilton (Ancaster) office is seeking an entry-level Restoration Technician to start immediately. No experience necessary but any background /experience in restoration/demolition would be considered an asset and would impact base salary.

**The Position**: We are looking for a full-time Restoration Technician who will be responsible for several aspects of mitigating losses and returning affected properties to pre-loss condition. This involves physical work, which would include but not be limited to carrying equipment, construction debris and customer contents. Must be able to lift/carry 25 lbs. independently.

Typical duties include but are not limited to: Responding quickly to emergencies such as water/flooding, fire & smoke damage, cleaning, packing out contents of homes & businesses.

**Additional Requirements**: Possess a valid Class G Ontario Driver’s license with no restrictions. Willing to take part in on-call rotating schedule. Able to work after hours and on Holidays/weekends when necessary. Willing to submit personal information for a criminal background check. Fees are covered by the employer. YOU MUST BE FULLY VACCINATED (2 DOSES) AGAINST COVID-19

**Schedule**: Our typical hours are Monday to Friday 8am -5pm but may vary. All full-time staff are required to be available for the on-call schedule that will be a weekly rotation. We are flexible and can offer a part-time schedule too.

Hourly rate offered will depend on skills and experience. $16.00-$21.00/hr
