Due to an increase in exciting projects, Mott MacDonald is hiring a BIM modeler to support projects in Vancouver, BC. Our team of professionals provides cost-effective and innovative engineering solutions for the North American transportation and infrastructure industry with unprecedented success. The BIM modeler's responsibilities include:

- Authoring BIMs using a variety of software to support senior modelers and project teams by promoting and utilizing the best tools and systems framework for projects
- Using different tools and systems that will require configuration and deployment based on each project’s requirements
- Enhancing and expanding current BIM capabilities, and progressing new technologies like 4D Scheduling (4D) and web-based client engagement
- Graduate from an accredited college program in Civil Engineering Technology, CAD Technology, or from a career college in Engineering CAD / BIM Technology
- Minimum 1-5 years; of experience as a modeling practitioner working with project engineers or managers
- Background in Autodesk tools and systems such as Revit, Dynamo, Civil3D, and Infraworks.
- Self-starter with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand what tasks are required to deliver projects and assignments successfully, as well as solve technical challenges while developing new workflows.
- Genuine interest in developing and progressing digital delivery with a propensity for learning.
- Excellent communication skills to work closely with teams and to function as a team player.
- Knowledge and appreciation for best performance in model-based design (BIM) protocols, standards, and software.
- Experience with infrastructure projects in one or more of these fields: Buildings, Rail, Transit, Bridges, Tunnels, or Civil works.
- Experience in Autodesk BIM Software: Dynamo, Subassembly Composer, Navisworks, ReCap, and InfraWorks.
