**Key Responsibilities**
- Setting daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicating them to employees
- Organizing workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
- Overseeing and coaching employees
- Being the primary contact for immediate production issues
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule regular maintenance
- Check production output according to specifications
- Submit reports on performance and progress
- Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
- Train new employees on GMP and follow production procedures
- Enforce strict safety and quality guidelines that meet company standards
- Maintain production records ensuring accuracy and validity of information
- Monitor level of supplies and handle shortages - inventory control
- Maintain trusting relationships with suppliers, customers and colleagues

**Skills and Competencies**
- Proven experience in a production facility with supervision roles or equivalent
- Experience using various types of manufacturing machinery and tools
- Proficient skills in MS Office
- Organizational and leadership abilities
- Communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- High School Diploma: Degree in a technical, engineering, or relevant field will be an asset
- Knowledge of “back-office” computer systems (ERP software) such as Microsoft Great Plains and BatchMaster an asset
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma
- Must have been employed for at least 2 years in a food facility or equivalent
- Supervisor experience
- Above average computer & math skills
- Advanced English - spoken and written.
- Outgoing, positive, and enjoy collaborating with people.
- Above average communication and people skills
- Knowledge of GMP and HACCP
