**Job position description**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout and framing requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials, using a ruler, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Install metal stud framing and furring for interior walls, partitions, and ceilings
- Install horizontal and vertical metal studs to form wall framing
- Install metal tracks and channels for ceilings and floorings
- Fasten metal frames and channels to building materials using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment
- Ensure that all framing work is done according to the building codes and safety standards
- Communicate with other construction workers to ensure efficient and safe work practices

**Requirements**:

- Experience in steel stud framing and drywall installation
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools (must have tools)
- Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations related to construction work
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and maneuver heavy materials
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills to interact with other workers, supervisors and clients on the job site.
- Must have valid G-full license
- Must have his own vehicle
- Managerial construction experience is considered an asset

NOR Contractors is located in Concord, Ontario.

**Salary**: From $35.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Concord, ON L4K 4A5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
