Arborist Crew Leader

Fergus, Canada ArborRite Tree Care Full time

Experienced in the tree care industry (2-3 years minimum preferred)
- Have a G Class license & clean driving record (mandatory)
- ISA Certification is an asset, but not necessary
- Motivated, friendly & professional individual who is passionate about tree care & has a strong team work ethic
- Effective written & verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 60+ pounds
- Ability to work in all weather conditions

Crew Leader Job Requirements:

- Effectively lead a crew on site with tree removal, pruning, planting & stump grinding
- Climbing trees for removal and pruning is an asset, but a spider lift is used for the majority of our work
- Ground work including running lines, moving brush, chipping, & cleaning up the site
- Maintenance & safe operation of chainsaws
- Maintenance & minor repairs of chipper and other equipment

**Salary**: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Fergus, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- tree care: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence (required)
