**Employment Opportunity - Treatment Manager**
Sagkeeng First Nation - Fort Alexander, MB
Mikaaming Mino Pimatiziwin Healing Lodge Inc (MMPHL) is a family addictions treatment facility
located in Sagkeeng, Manitoba. We offer a seven-week traditional and holistic treatment
program in a residential setting for First Nation & Inuit families struggling to overcome drug and
alcohol addictions. MMPHL is currently seeking a Treatment Manager to lead our clinical team.
**General Duties**:
The ideal person will be responsible for supervising and maintaining the clinical aspect of
treatment for families. This individual will also be required to provide clinical supervision and
training to treatment staff.
**Qualifications**:
Graduated from a recognized college or university with a Bachelors Degree of Social
Work, Psychology, Sociology and/or addictions, preferably within the counselling
service sector or any combination of training and experience which provides the
required knowledge, ability and skills.
Work experience in a clinical setting or residential treatment.
Must have experience working with groups in a group therapy setting.
Five years proven results-oriented supervisory experience.
Knowledge of traditional and contemporary healing practices.
Excellent communication, writing and negotiation skills.
Ability to exercise sound effective judgement in working with families and with staff.
Must be capable of delivering public education as requested.
Must be able to provide professional reports and program development.
Must be knowledgeable and willing to work with an Accreditation Body.
Must be able to utilize various computer programs.
