We have 2 (two) Part cleaner positions available and 1 (one) Part picker/Spindle builder position working in a factory environment, with metal fabrication, welding and finish assembly taking place.

Role Overview

**Responsibilities**:
Under the supervision of the Welding Supervisor, the duties and responsibilities of the Parts Cleaner include, but are not limited to, the following:

- Receives instructions, and work orders from your supervisor;
- Operates indicated tools as required (e.g.: Hand chisel/scraper, hand grinder, various scouring pads etc.) to clean parts;
- Ensures that work order quantities are correct, and properly fill out work orders as required
- Work in a safety conscious manner;
- Masks and hangs parts in preparation for paint;
Part Picker position:
Under the supervision of the Fabrication Supervisor, the duties and responsibilities of the Parts Picker include, but are not limited to, the following:
Gathering parts up for the Welders prior to their next jobs being completed

Assembling Spindle Housings as required

Secondary coverage for the Powder paint line operations

Other
- Other duties as assigned.

Skills and Effort Requirements
- Strong English reading and writing skills;
- Ability to understand basic math equations (i.e.: add, multiply, fractions, etc.);
- Strong attention to detail;
- Understands shop drawings and mechanical principles to set-up and run machines.

Minimum Requirements
- High School Diploma is an asset

This position interfaces with internal and external contacts:

Working Conditions

This role works out of a dynamic factory setting, with exposure to coolant, oil, grease, dirt and noise in a work cell area. This role requires frequent use of larger muscle groups (walking, standing and bending) to oversee duties of the role. This role requires daily attention to multiple priorities and competing demands.

This role works out of the Seaforth location, with no travel required.
