**Responsibilities**:

- Organize and maintain inventory and stock control.
- Ensure that the storage areas and warehouse is kept clean and tidy, which includes identifying areas where processes could be improved, and work practices amended.
- Supervises and reviews all receiving, inventory, staging, and shipping activities performed by warehouse team; maintains a high degree of visibility and access to employees on warehouse floor.
- Understands and ensures strong compliance of standard processes.
- Assist the Warehouse Manager to ensure smooth operation of warehouse systems, equipment and machinery and arrange for maintenance and repair work as needed.
- Ensure accurate proper and timely reporting of data to generate established KPIs.
- Continuously develops employees by coaching and providing insightful feedback.
- Document progress and ensure associates are cross trained to provide adequate coverage in key processes.
- Provide daily updates on receiving status, issues, and projects.
- Participate in decision-making processes involving receiving challenges and continuous improvements.
- Supply chain management.
- Confer with logistics.
- SAP, Microsoft Office experience
- Other duties as assigned.

**Education/Skills/Experience**:

- Inventory and Warehouse Management software.
- 3 years forklift experience.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in shipping/receiving, preferably in a manufacturing setting.
- Warehouse Lead must be able to perform complex procedures and calculations, completing required documentation ensuring accuracy.

**Working Environment and Physical Demands**:
Ability to stand for long periods of time, able to crouch, bend and kneel, as well as capable of heavy lifting and carrying.
