Job description
KEI is expanding and we are hiring for Powder Coat Generalists, Assemblers and Rackers/Packers.
A family owned and operated company located in Kitchener, Ontario in our 75th year in business, Kuntz Electroplating Inc. (KEI) has become the benchmark for quality and service in premium plated and painted products to the automotive and motorcycle industries. We presently serve automotive exterior and interiors, motorcycle, appliance, gaming, heavy truck, and other specialized industries in a Tier 1 and Tier capacity. We supply chrome plated and powder coated components to the world’s largest and most recognizable brands who rely on us to optimize their part designs with world-class process capability to provide the highest quality to them and their customers.

The positions we are currently recruiting for include:
Powder Coat Generalist (hiring for 8 hour shifts - 7 - 3 p.m., 3 -11 p.m. or 11 p.m - 7 a.m.)
Assemblers (hiring for 8 hour shifts - 3 - 11 p.m. or 11 p.m. - 7 a.m.)
Racker (hiring for 8 hour shifts - 3 -11 p.m. - 11 p.m. - 7.a.m.)
These positions are responsible for a broad range of activities within our plating, polishing and powder coating divisions. Employees will be assigned various tasks by the shift supervisor. We are looking for team players who work well with others to complete tasks as a group or individually.
**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Grade 12 or equivalent preferred.
- Previous warehouse or general labourer experience an asset.
- Certified Inspector designation or ability to obtain. Eyesight will need to be tested once every two years and complete related corrective actions required (ie. new eyewear prescription, if required) satisfying vision requirements of the jobs.
- Knowledge of product quality standards and the importance of your activities in achieving, maintaining, and improving quality, including customer requirements and the associated risks to customers of non-conforming products.
- Good Physical Condition.
- Ability to work well in teams
- Organizational skills required,
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to variety of tasks.
- Ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to comprehend and learn new tasks.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal
**PHYSICAL DEMANDS**:
Physical requirement will be for continuous movement and lifting.
