***The Opportunity**:
We have a new opportunity for you to join the WSP Environment and Infrastructure (E&I) Canada Limited team (formerly Wood Environment & Infrastructure Solutions Canada Limited) as an Archaeology Field Technician based out of our Greater Toronto Area offices (Burlington, Richmond Hill, London). As part of our Archaeology Team, you will be involved in various stages of archaeological fieldwork from Stage 2 surveys to Stage 4 excavations in Ontario. **Note that this is a seasonal position for the 2023 field season, starting in the spring of 2023**.

**A day in the life**:
As an Archaeological Field Technician on the WSP E&I Canada Limited team you will:

- Complete archaeological fieldwork under the supervision of an experienced Field Supervisor, including Stage 2 surveys (field walking and test pitting); Stage 3 site-specific assessments; and Stage 4 mitigations.
- Work outdoors in a wide variety of weather and ground conditions.
- Support Field Supervisors and provide assistance where needed.
- Participate in a team environment providing support to other field technicians and assisting with field activities as required.
- Maintain a high standard of ethical and professional behavior and demonstrate a “Safety First” focus and act as a role model to other staff_**What you'll bring to WSP...**:

- A minimum of one (1) field season of archaeological experience in Ontario, including shovel testing and test unit excavation.
- Ability to work daily at field site locations. You enjoy fieldwork and like to work in a team environment
