Pipe Layer

MAREX Constructors Ltd. is an Abbotsford based civil construction firm that is looking to hire a Pipelayer for deep and shallow underground utilities.

Job Summary:
As a Pipelayer you will be responsible for the proper installation of underground, large & small diameter storm & sanitary sewers, watermains, telecommunications, and other utilities. You will be required to work safely whilst remaining productive and be a good team player.

Job Requirements:

- Surveying, Grademan, Top Man knowledge & experience
- Valid BC driver’s license and reliable transportation required - most job sites are NOT transit accessible
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the civil construction sector
- Must be safety orientated, self-motivated and work well with others
- Must be reliable, dependable and punctual

Job Details:

- Full time position (M-F, with shifts usually scheduled 7am-3pm)
- Work is _generally_ limited to the Fraser Valley (**Coquitlam to Chilliwack**) area
- Overtime work may be necessary
- Pay to be based on commensuration, experience is an asset
