We are currently seeking instructors to support Innivec’s continued vision of providing top-notch

education services to our students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Curriculum Development: Create and update course materials, lesson plans, and educational

resources for teaching English language skills encompassing reading, writing, listening, and

speaking.
- Instruction and Delivery: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to students'

language proficiency levels, utilizing diverse teaching methods and materials to enhance

learning experiences.
- Language Skills Development: Focus on developing grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation,

comprehension, and fluency in English through various exercises, activities, and discussions.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Design and administer assessments, quizzes, and examinations to

evaluate students' language proficiency, providing constructive feedback and progress reports.
- Individualized Support: Offer personalized guidance, tutoring, and additional support to

students who require assistance in specific areas of language learning.
- Cultural Context Integration: Incorporate cultural nuances, idiomatic expressions, and sociocultural elements into language instruction to provide a well-rounded learning experience.
- Technological Integration: Utilize educational technology, online resources, and multimedia

tools to supplement traditional teaching methods and enhance engagement.
- Collaboration and Professional Development: Collaborate with fellow instructors, attend

workshops, and engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with effective

teaching methodologies and trends in language instruction.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field. Master’s degree or

TESOL/TEFL certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience teaching ESL or EFL to students of diverse backgrounds.
- Strong knowledge of English grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and language teaching

methodologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and online learning platforms.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Patient, approachable, and culturally sensitive.
- Enthusiastic about teaching and committed to student success.
- Adaptable and open to feedback.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience teaching ESL in a variety of settings (e.g., schools, language institutes, online).
- Familiarity with language assessment tools and techniques.
- Experience with curriculum development and instructional design.
- Knowledge of a second language.

Work location
- Vancouver

**Salary**:

- CAD 25- CAD 40 per hour

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
