Mission is located in the lower mainland of BC and is situated in the traditional territory of the Stó꞉lō Peoples including Sq’ewlets, Leq’a:mel, Sema:th, Mathexwi, Kwantlen, and Katzie territories. Mission is a rapidly growing and dynamic community of approximately 41,500 residents, located 15 minutes north of the US border and 70 kilometers east of Vancouver. Although Mission is part of a broader metropolitan area, it still maintains its distinct and welcoming small-town character.

The City of Mission’s Parks, Recreation and Culture Department is looking for Recreation Instructors for our Summer Camp programs. This position will work with children ages 5-12. This position will ensure the safety and well-being of participants and will communicate and work cooperatively with participants, parents, supervisors, and community agencies. In this role you will plan, lead, and support developmentally-appropriate and engaging activities for children enrolled in the Club K.I.D.S. program. You will participate with children in an enthusiastic, respectful, and friendly manner
