Golf Course Superintendent

**Position Overview**:
The successful applicant must have a positive attitude, love being outside and enjoys physical labour.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in planning and implementing turf management programs
- Supervise and participate in daily course maintenance practices, including mowing, irrigation, fertilization, and pest control
- Monitor and maintain the health and condition of all areas of the golf course and property
- Assist with staff training and supervise members of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support
- Implement safety protocols and best practices in all maintenance operations
- Assist the General Manager in budgeting and resource management for the maintenance department

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in golf course maintenance
- Knowledge of turf grass management, irrigation systems, spraying practices and pest control
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role
- Ability to operate and maintain golf course maintenance equipment
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Familiarity with environmental and safety regulations in golf course maintenance

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
