Single Women In Motherhood (S.W.I.M.) Training Program is a not-for-profit organization that supports single mothers in achieving their full financial, emotional, and intellectual potential. SWIM has been a pillar in the London Middlesex Community for almost 20 years and has worked with over 1,000 single mothers. As a not-for-profit agency, SWIM relies on the commitment and dedication of its volunteers. SWIM is now looking to expand its team of Volunteers

**Position Description**:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **IT Technician** to join our team (VOLUNTEER)

**A IT Technician will be responsible for**:

- Escalate tasks where appropriate and respond to issues quickly
- Maintaining and monitoring the current IT infrastructure
- Assisting with software installation and upgrades
- Managing and maintaining hardware and software assets
- Review and identify areas of improvement in the procurement process
- To carry out other reasonable tasks related to IT
- Support with IT-related tasks such as setting up workstations and printers and troubleshooting any IT issues

**Requirements & Skills**:

- Competent with products from the Microsoft Office Suite
- Previous Customer Service experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft-based operating systems
- Good communication Skills both face-to-face and virtually
- Ability to work both in a team and individually.
- Attention to detail
- Excellent organizational skills
- Knowledge of System Admin centres (desirable)

**Education**:

- A completed Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary diploma in IT or other related field
- A minimum of 1-3 years experience

**To be successful in this role** you will be collaborative and an effective communicator with an attention to detail and the ability to prioritize workloads effectively.

**Job Type**: Part-time

**Salary**: $1.00-$2.00 per year

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift

Work Location: In person
