The normal work schedule is on a
- **rotation of 4 weeks paid** i.e., 2 weeks worked (77 hours per week, 7 days a week) followed by 2 weeks paid to rest.

**Future challenges**

Reporting to the Production Mining Engineer, the surveyor technician is responsible:

- For all surveying in the field (projects, pits and underground mine);
- Implementing drill holes, limitations and work areas;
- Planning, organizing and ensure monitoring all survey projects on the field;
- Producing projected plans set as requested;
- Monitoring daily, weekly and monthly operations;
- Performs data verification and validation;
- Perform various tasks including drone piloting;
- Enter daily data into Excel, write activity reports and output various reports and graphs;
- Understanding mining industry to make sure the production as all the tools needed to progress;
- Performing other duties as the supervisor may think necessary to ensure the effective conduct of mining activities.

**what we are looking for**
- Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in surveying or a mining technique;
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the field;
- Good knowledge of Deswik, Excel software and Leica surveying equipment.
- Good knowledge of surface (open pit) or/and underground surveying methods;
- Understanding, knowledge and familiarity with geology and mining;
- Have good communication skills (reports, presentations, etc);
- Possession of a valid driver's license and general explosives handling license is essential.
- Possess FMTM 1,2,3,4,5 and 7.

**Nice to have**
- Good knowledge of MS Office suite software.
- Bilingualism (French and functional English).
