Our role in education is to promote reconciliation through teaching of our shared history, by learning from the land and one another.

Newmark Colony School

Newmark Hutterite Colony near Wilkie, Saskatchewan, was founded in 2020 as a division from the Rockport Hutterite Colony (Magrath, Alberta, Canada). In 2020 Newmark Hutterite Colony was a Lehrerleut colony. This is a new school in Living Sky School Division opening June 10, 2024, with 11 students from Kindergarten to grade 8.

Principal - Permanent full time (1.00 FTE), commencing June 10, 2024.

Applicants are required to possess a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration or be committed to completing post-graduate studies in an applicable field. Additionally, they must be eligible for or possess a valid Saskatchewan Teaching Certificate. Experience in areas of Indigenous Education would be considered an asset.
