About the team you are joining
Under IATA’s Operations, Safety and Security department, you will be joining the Aviation Cyber Security team, where activities are dedicated to lead and support airlines in their existing and coming challenges. Via different groups of airlines, with support of strategic partners and others, through governance, advocacy and regulatory activities, our team is helping airlines augment cyber-resilience of the civil aviation industry.
What your day would be like
The incumbent in this position will handle the administration and logistics of the Aviation Cyber Security department while assisting in the development, implementation and support of aviation cyber security initiatives related to the different activities across IATA’s Aviation Cyber Security groups.
- Provide logistics support to IATA 3CTX Open Forum Workshop event and other Group meetings and Strategic Partners;
- Support daily Aviation Cyber Security department activities including meeting preparation and regional coordination as well as Briefing Notes, following industry meetings, and other activities, as required;
- Participate in special projects and guidance material redaction;
- Support the management and update of the Aviation Cyber Security Department web-pages, intranet and extranet pages;
- Support the liaison with related IATA departments on administrative matters;
- Other special assignments as required.
We would love to hear from you if
- University Degree in IT and Cyber Security, Aviation Engineering or in a relevant field or equivalent qualifications;
- At least 2-3 years working experience in a company or association related to aviation and cyber security;
- Experience in project management and organization of events;
- Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high attention to detail;
- Highly motivated, team player, initiative skills and proficiency in report writing;
- Excellent PC skills, particularly with MS Office, database experience and knowledge of SAP is an advantage;
- Fully proficient in English (written and verbal) with strong communication skills; any additional language will be an asset;
- Works well with mínimal supervision and possess strong people skills, including change management and capacity to rally key resources (internal and external) to contribute and collaborate at different stage of the initiatives;
- Ability to work effectively and tactfully in an international and multicultural environment.
