**Job Description**:
As a result of strategic growth, we have a great opportunity to join a collaborative group working alongside our Geomatics team of land surveyors, technologists, and field staff. This field-oriented role will be involved in a variety of infrastructure and geomatics projects primarily in and around Edmonton. **_Be a part of a friendly, fast paced environment with plenty of room for career advancement, great benefits, and a strong team of professionals._**

**Most of the things you’ll be working on**:
Overview: Will assist the Survey Party Chief in providing survey layouts, as-built measurements, survey monument installations and maintaining the equipment and workspace.
- Assist and support surveyors in field surveys
- Assist surveyors in drafting survey notes and detailed drawings
- Conduct on-field survey and record measurements
- Coordinate with other surveyors on field survey activities
- Ensure compliance of established procedures and guidelines in survey activities
- Communicate with office staff, contractors on a daily basis.

**Qualifications**:
**You’ll need to have**:

- Diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology related field or experience in land /construction surveying field work
- 1-3 years of field experience related to construction and/or civil engineering field projects
- Excellent interpersonal skills in dealing with team collaboration and stakeholder communication
- Detail oriented as accuracy is essential
- Positive, “can-do” attitude with desire for continuous learning and developing
- As short-term travel will be required periodically, must have a valid Class 5 Driver’s Licence, (vehicle allowance will be provided)
