Job description

**FusionTech Telecommunications**is currently seeking experienced personnel to fill a full-time Telecommunications Lineman position. We are looking for our Brampton location. Applicants must be able to provide;
- A strong commitment to safety
- Good work ethic
- Pass a criminal record check
- Experience operating vehicle-mounted aerial device equipment
- Experience operating a bucket truck
- Experience operating cable lashing machines and other lineman equipment
- Load and unload equipment and cable trailers
- Perform outside plant line construction with coax and fibre
- Perform testing and troubleshooting when required
- **Must be able to FULLY operate a line truck**:

- A valid G driver’s license in good standing
- The ability to safely lift heavy objects and tools to perform a variety of tasks
- Strong manual dexterity, hand-eye co-ordination and attention to detail
- Willingness to work flexible hours and locations (travel may be required)
- Willingness to work in all types of weather conditions
- 2 Years lineman related experience in a telecommunications environment
- Good working knowledge of fibre optic and communications networks
- **Salary based on job experience**:

- Must be willing to join LIUNA LOCAL 183 union

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- On call

**Experience**:

- bucket truck operating: 1 year (required)
- Telecommunications Lineman: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class G Licence in good standing (required)
