Quality Specialist

**Position**: Quality Specialist (1 position)

**Shift**: Rotating Shift( 6:30am - 3:00pm / 3:00pm - 11:30pm)

**Wage**: ($20.65 - $23.70)/hr + Shift premium of $ 0.60/hr for afternoon shift

**Position Summary**: Provides a wide variety of support services.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform product audits as per approved PQCT.
- Raise concerns to QA Supervisor and applicable Quality Tech Support.
- Address specific production associate quality concerns.
- Respond promptly to afternoon shift customer quality concerns.
- Coordinate in-house and external containment / sorting activities.
- Support Quality Engineers with data collection.
- Perform receiving inspection on incoming product as required.
- Control specific IPP tasks.
- Issue and administer Suppliers’ Trouble Reports
- Arrange containment, sorting and return of suspected nonconforming product.
- Support disposition of parts in QA Hold area.
- Process quality award recommendation forms for supplier defects.
- Ensure inspection fixture standards and operation standard are functional.
- Work to all company and departmental 5S and safety requirements.
- Participate in T.I.P.S. program.
- Other duties as required.

**Qualifications**:

- High School diploma and 1-2 years document control/quality experience.
- Understanding of ISO/TS 16949: 2009.
- Applicable computer skills. Proficient with MS Office.
