**Job Title**: Procurement Specialist

**Job Location**: Dartmouth, NS

**Report To**: Director - Projects, Acquisitions & Procurement

**Job Summary and Responsibilities**:We are immediately seeking a procurement professional to manage and enhance the organizations procurement processes.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- 1+ years experience in a similar role is preferred
- Strong negotiation skills
- Proven accuracy and detail in execution of work
- Strong end effective communication skills
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management skill
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience in Sage software is considered an asset

**Responsibilities will include, but not limited to**:

- Supplier relationship management
- Souring materials and issuing purchase orders
- Negotiations with suppliers
- Expedite materials
- Audit procurement contracts
- Maintain procurement records/ vendor files
- Assist in vendor evaluations
- Create internal jobs to support customer orders/ requirements
- Other tasks as assigned

**Salary**: $54,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
