- Examine blueprints, sketches, and drawings to understand specifications
- Estimate the amount and type of materials required
- Utilize measuring tools to create layouts
- Ensure compliance with building codesCut, shape, and join materials using various tools and techniques
- Erect walls, install floor beams, and roof systems
- Build footings and molds for concrete
- Install doors, stairs, molding, and hardwareOversee and mentor other apprentices and construction workers
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace

**Requirements**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Enrolled in a carpentry apprenticeship program or completed a relevant vocational course
- Basic knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and techniques
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
