**Job Description**:
This role will be based out of our Markham office with flexibility based on our hybrid working model.

The Role- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Five Workday HRIS Analysts, facilitating their growth and development.- Own the customer-facing elements of HR Workday modules: HCM, Recruitment Compensation, Absence, Time tracking, talent management, and Benefits configuration for all team members (Salaried and Hourly, Union and Non-Union).- Embed HRIS requirements into the HR strategic planning process; ensure optimal Workday configuration considers effective and efficient business processes and data integrity, accurate security.- Manage day-to-day system operations and provide ongoing support in partnership with IT to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and/or provide solutions to end users. Responsible for ensuring that stakeholders are kept informed and that issues are escalated appropriately.- Manage complex system configuration and security administration. Assist with inbound and outbound integration issues, changes to existing integrations as well as new integrations. Assess system stability and data integrity, and develop initiatives to establish consistency and optimum use of systems.- Oversee regular occurring releases and updates, ensuring they have been reviewed, tested and accurately applied on a timely basis.- Research, analyze and recommend functionality and new innovation for existing HR systems, to improve system use, support business processes and/or fill business gaps. Develop and execute a project plan for implementation, in partnership with HR COEs, IT, Payroll or Finance as necessary.- Represent the ‘HR Technology’ point-of-view, support and foster a collaborative relationship with the business when considering downstream impacts of decisions made in Workday.- Proactively recommend solutions to solve business needs, and lead the customer-facing system enhancement process by:
- Working with Extendicare stakeholders to understand their needs under the guidance of the HR Technology Sr. Director- Researching potential solutions and presenting options- Configuration, testing and deployment, training and change management for enhancements

The Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience configuring Workday HCM, Compensation, Absence and Benefits (Workday Pro certification an asset)- Ability to teach configuration activities, EIB loads, and advanced troubleshooting- Leadership experience in managing, developing and mentoring direct reports- Solid understanding of Human Resources processes and procedures with a broad knowledge of all aspects of human resources management systems.- Experience maintaining data integrity within and across systems, conducting system audits and reconciling discrepancies with other functional areas to ensure data accuracy- Experience with report writing and database management.- Demonstrated experience with successfully introducing change into an organization through the implementation of systems.
