Sake Sales

**Overview**:
Nippon Sake Imports is an importer of **artisanal Japanese sake** that was founded in 2018. We are expanding our business. We are currently searching for a dynamic, highly motivated and goal-oriented Sake Sales & Account Coordinator covering Vancouver BC. Energic, bubbly personality is integral to this role.

This individual will be responsible for sales to key restauraunt accounts, working with suppliers, distributor managers and salespeople, conducting special events, and providing market information to the Head of sales. **Must have a background and interest in either wine or sake sales**

**Responsibilities**:
The duties and responsibilities of the position include the following (other duties may be assigned as needed):

- 70% focus on account management and sales, local and regional, / 15% on educating and supporting customers of the Nippon Sake regional sales teams, 10% focus on distributor interaction / 5% administrative
- Maintain a key account list and develop personal relationships with key buyers/owners and managers
- Work with key distributor personnel to sell brands to on
- and off-premise key accounts
- Propose and conduct on-/off
- premise promotional events
- Conduct sake tastings, sake dinners, and training/educational seminars for consumers and trade
- Review monthly account performance
- Identify market trends and opportunities and propose action plans
- Manage own quota of depletions, placements and qualitative efforts
- Qualifications:

- Minimum three years’ experience selling fine wine or sake in both on
- and off-premise accounts
- Must have proven track record in developing new business, managing existing accounts, and maintaining business relationships
- Must have exceptional closing skills, strong verbal/written communication and organizational skills
- Passion and knowledge of fine Sake, mixology and gastronomy (WSET, SSI or other similar credentials a plus)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong computer skills are a MUST (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 15 per week

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
