Summer Parks Maintenance Students

The Summer Parks Maintenance Student is responsible for providing general municipal parks maintenance. Duties include grass cutting, garbage pickup, public washroom room cleaning, flower bed maintenance, sports fields maintenance and assisting with the set up and take down of special events. The ideal applicant is currently enrolled in Secondary School or Post-Secondary School.

**Requirements**:

- A criminal record check must be provided by the date of employment.
- Valid class “G” or “G2” driver’s license. “Drivers Abstract” will be required.
- Current certification in Standard First Aid and CPR Level C.

The wage range for this position is:
$17.45/hour to $21.81/hour *2024 increase pending
