**SUPPORT SERVICES CLERK**

**The Town of High Level is looking for a responsible & motivated individual for the Support Services Clerk position. This position is a full-time position, based in the Town of High Level at the Town Office with an anticipated start date of **March 18, 2024**. Regular hours of work for this position are **8:00am to 4:30pm** (37.5 hours/week). Competitive wages ranging from **$27.08-$29.59 per hour**.**

**Reporting to the Director of Finance and Administration, the Support Services Clerk is responsible for providing services to the public or residents, in person and by telephone as the Town’s initial contact. The incumbent of this position is responsible for the efficient and effective daily operations of the front end duties of the Town Office. This position will also provide assistance to the finance department as required.**

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

The minimum level of education required to perform these duties are:

- Completion of Grade 12 Diploma; and/or
- Secretarial and/or accounting certificate or training.
- 3 Years’ experience in customer service and/or office administration.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**:
The minimum experience required to perform these duties are:

- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic accounting knowledge, including payables and receivables.
- Ability to multi-task and complete tasks efficiently with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to work within a team environment.

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**

Other requirements include:

- Clear Criminal Record Check.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.
- Standard Driver’s Abstract.
