Roofing Labourer/helper

**Duties and responsibilities**
- Load, unload and transport construction equipment materials
- Mix, pour and spread materials
- Clean and pile salvaged materials
- Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- Operate various tools and equipment.
- Cleans up worksites from obsolete or hazardous materials. General Housekeeping.
- Provide labour support as needed.
- Follow safety protocols
- Render support in the Installation of roofing systems
- Responsible for utilizing, holding, or supplying materials or tools during projects
- Clean work area and equipment, set ladders in place for taking supplies to roofs
- Responsible for taking down materials and tools from work trucks and unroll roofing materials as directed
- Maintain tools and equipment pre and after work
- Set up safety-related equipment to protect the project site
- Safely climb a ladder frequently to supply materials
- Lifting over 50lb

**Abilities**
- Ability to learn and follow safety policy
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to lift heavy materials and tools
- Ability to use powered hand tools
- Ability to work at heights
- Willingness to work out of town

Fall Arrest, Torch Safety, Fire Extinguisher, Standard First Aid or/and telehandler training/certification considered an asset.
