**Position Summary**

The By-law Enforcement Supervisor is responsible for directing, supervising, and
monitoring the work plans of the By-law Enforcement Division. Ensuring the
efficient and effective delivery of enforcement services through supervising and
tracking of daily activities within the By-law Enforcement Division. Provides
coaching to staff and ensures staff are adequately trained to fulfill their duties.

**The City of Thorold invites you to submit your resume if you possess:
Degree or diploma in Police Foundations, criminology, judicial proceedings,
regulatory/public administration or other related disciplines.

A minimum of five (5) years of related enforcement or field investigative
experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience in
an enforcement or investigative field, preferably in a municipal setting.

Supervisory experience considered an asset

Designation as a Municipal Law Enforcement Officer Certified MLEO(c)

Valid drivers’ license with driving record acceptable to the Corporation

Demonstrated excellent communication and customer service skills

Ontario Association of Property Standards Officers (OAPSO) certification
considered an asset

The City offers a competitive yearly salary ranging from **$84,541.00 to $97,868.00**
