**Extrusion Operator Responsibilities**:

- Monitoring extruder operation to detect sheet defects or machine malfunction, conducts verifications on the specifications of produced sheet
- Safely setting up sheet specifications including adjusting dies and cutting blades to produce high quality plastic sheet, and manage records to ensure accurate inventory control
- Review order specifications and material requirements, performing minor equipment maintenance and adjustments, and keeping the work area clean
- Working enthusiastically with other departments in the pursuit of overcoming challenges and doing the right thing for our planet
- Removing, transporting, weighing, labeling and storing completed rolls and sheet to ensure satisfied customers

**Required Knowledge and Experience**:

- Minimum of 1 year previous related experience
- Mechanical aptitude & able to read & follow production paperwork.
- Mathematical skills.
- Ability to problem solve and able to react quickly and safely to a situation.
- Able to stay organized in a fast-paced environment with little supervision.
- Capable of multi-tasking when operating specialized machinery.
