*Job Overview*

*Duties*
- Washing and maintaining of surgical instruments for various departments
- Autoclave maintenance of both autoclaves on a weekly basis.
- Changing of the instrument cleaning fluids at regular intervals.
- Wrapping of surgical packs and loose instruments.
- Inspecting instruments to ensure no rust/defects.
- Processing of packs through the steam autoclave.
- Processing of items through the plasma sterilizer.
- Maintaining inventory relevant to the position.
- Maintain working order of sterilization equipment and arrangement of services as necessary.

*Experience*
- Previous experience as a Medical Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are critical for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
