Gloucester, Canada Joint Reaction Health Center Full time

**We are a multi-disciplinary Clinic offering physiotherapy, chiropractic care, massage therapy and acupuncture. **We are looking for a qualified **Physiotherapy Assistant** to join our awesome team. The role of a Physiotherapy Assistant will be to support our Physiotherapist in implementing our therapy programs, some office duties and billing management included. Our therapy programs are tailored to the use of gym/exercise equipment and musculoskeletal rehabilitation techniques. A Kinesiology certification is an asset.

**We are a fun, energetic and positive team and are looking for someone charismatic, enthusiastic and efficient to join the patient care side of our business.**

**Roles include**:

- Greeting clients upon arrival and supporting their experience throughout their journey with us
- Taking clients to their treatment room;
- Assisting the physiotherapists with patients, using therapeutic ultrasound, setting up of interferential current (IFC) machine.
- Teaching exercises to patients.
- Maintaining and testing the physio equipment;
- Answering phones;
- Scheduling appointments for clients face-to-face and over the phone;
- Handling payments;
- Various administrative tasks to support the Physiotherapist;
- Keeping the treatment rooms clean and doing laundry; and
- Disinfecting surfaces and other housekeeping duties.
- Holds a PTA/OTA Diploma or has a bachelor's degree in kinesiology, and/or related diploma.
- Previous experience in a Physiotherapy clinic an asset.
- Friendly, outgoing personality.
- Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment.
- Strong computer and data entry skills.
- Flexible availability, willingness to work M: 6:30 am to 1 pm and Wednesday and Friday: 1:00 pm to 8 pm
- Desire and willingness to learn

Part-time hours: 25-35 per week

**Salary**: $16-$20 per hour
