Commercial Cleaner

The contract is located on Hwy 104 between Exits 8 and 10 in Londonderry.These positions are for the new Cobequid Pass Rest Area along the Highway. It is a 4 day on 4 day off rotation. The shift is 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. Starting wage is $18.00/hour with the wage increasing after a 3 month probationary period( dependent on work performance and no time missed). Tentative start date is October 31st. We have 2 vacancies for this location.

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform commercial cleaning duties in a Public Rest Stop setting including common areas as well as restrooms and outdoor garbage.
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Dust and wipe down surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows
- Restock supplies as needed
- Sweep parking lot occasionally when there is down time,
- Take note of supplies that need to be ordered.

**Skills**:

- Experience in commercial cleaning is not necessary; we are willing to train the right person
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Good time management skills to complete tasks within designated timeframes

Note: Must have a valid driver license to get to and from the contract. Clean criminal record/background check needed if hired. Steel toe safety sneakers are mandatory at this contract.

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 48 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Day shift
