**POSITION PROFILE**:
The Human Resources Recruiter is responsible for managing the full recruitment cycle from attraction, to sourcing, interviewing, background checks and offers of employment.

**PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Attract applicants by writing, placing and managing job advertisements using a variety of resources i.e. job sites, social media, or print
- Working with hiring Manager, schedule and conduct competency-based phone, virtual and in-person interviews for applicants
- Conduct reference checks following in-person interviews and make recommendations to Managers
- Manage the onboarding process in conjunction with the hiring Manager
- Arrange IT set-up for new employees including hardware required: desktop, cell phone, tablets, etc.
- Arrange for log-in accesses for new employees (Health & Safety, Culligan U, CPort, uniform orders etc.), and provide information to hiring Managers (Welcome Letter)
- Ensure receipt of and correct completion of new hire paperwork for all new hires
- Set up, update and maintain Employee and Driver Qualification files
- Order and distribute new hire identification; name plates, name badges, photo ID badges
- Create and manage an applicant tracking system
- Maintain the work structure by ensuring job requirements and job descriptions are created, updated, and maintained for all positions
- Conduct regular wage reviews to ensure the Company is paying within the normal standard for all positions. Update and maintain our pay equity and wage band documents
- Abide by company-enforced HR processes and current employment laws and regulations
- Project work as assigned by the Human Resources Manager
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Ontario Secondary School Diploma required
- Completion of post-secondary Human Resources education is preferred
- Minimum of 1 year's experience in recruiting
- A versatile self-starter who takes initiative and can work independently with minimum supervision
- Highly confidential, with solid interpersonal and teamwork skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Intermediate Microsoft office skills (Outlook, Excel, Work, PowerPoint)
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and prioritize simultaneously
- Demonstrates strong interpersonal and communication skills including written, oral, and comprehension
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with employees, Managers, and key business partners
