While many cannabis facilities are located in remote areas, Ten-Ten is located in Kelowna, British Columbia, part of the renowned Okanagan Valley. The Okanagan was voted as one of the most beautiful places to live and is known for its lakes, wine, golf, skiing and now it is becoming the silicon valley for cannabis.

Reporting to the Master Grower, your work will include, but not be limited to, the following:

- Perform all the tasks in the cultivation areas, including: cloning, transplanting, defoliation, super cropping, topping.
- Maintain cannabis plants individually and with care and attention.
- Maintain and verify plant health and cultivation records.
- Attend to feeding & watering schedules, assign/adjust environmental conditions (light, air & water temperatures, humidity, CO2, air circulation).
- Conduct preventative maintenance and elimination of all types of mold, powdery mildew, spider mites, root aphids, fungus gnats, etc. in a pesticide-free environment.
- Maintain cultivation area equipment: ongoing and preventative.
- Adhere to all Policies, Standard Operating Procedures, Work Instructions, Good Production Practices (GPP) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Maintain a sanitary and organized work environment.
- Work safely by exercising due diligence and reporting any hazard to the Master Grower.
- Vacuum, mop, wipe up spills, remove garbage and maintain tidiness in cultivation rooms.
- Wash and sanitize cultivation equipment.
- Other duties may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications/Requirements:

- Detailed knowledge of plant science and anatomy.
- Detailed knowledge of Cannabis and Cannabis cultivation practices.
- Physical aptitude and health necessary to perform manual labor tasks required for employment in a commercial scale indoor growing facility.
- Ability to be trained to use plant inventory software and equipment.
- Security Clearance with Health Canada.

Skill Requirements:

- Knowledge of plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as pesticide-free plant treatment options is an asset.
- Knowledge of cannabis plant and genetics is an asset.
- Experience with growing plants in an aquaponic environment will be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of large-scale commercial plant cultivation including nutrient requirements, mediums, light requirements, temperature control, air flow, etc. is an asset.
- Knowledge of GMP and GPP is an asset.
- Information gathering and monitoring skills.
- Security clearance an asset or the ability to pass a security clearance.
- Ability to lift 50lbs.
- Job requires squatting, kneeling, bending, reaching and standing for extended hours.
- Ability to act independently and as a team member.
- Attention to detail and accuracy including thorough documentation abilities.
- Adaptability and flexibility.
- Ability to prioritize activities and adjust priorities on short notice.
- Excellent comprehension, communication and interpersonal skills.
