Cook/Janitor
This is a part time position, averaging 25 hours per week from August 21st 2023 to June 2024
Qualifications:
- Experienced with menu planning and cooking for a group setting within a budget
- Valid Food Handling certification/training
- First Aid Certificate
- Cleared Criminal Record Check (CRIM) and Child Youth Intervention Check (CYIM)
- Able to take direction and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working with parents in a kitchen setting and sharing space
- Warm and empathetic attitude towards children and families
- Effective time management skills
- Able to do regular grocery shopping - vehicle required
- Having knowledge of the Indigenous culture related to food/recipes and/or teachings would be an asset
- Background and/or education in Early Learning and Child Care would be an asset
