Vancouver, Canada Abandoned Rail Brewing Co. Full time

Abandoned Rail Brewing Co. is looking for a full time sales representative in Vancouver/Lower Mainland.

**The Company**:
Abandoned Rail Brewing Co. is a new family run farm craft brewery, established in 2022. Situated on the scenic Naramata Bench in Penticton B.C. Canada. We grow 5 acres of barley on the brewery property. Penticton has the highest densities of breweries in BC with 8 craft breweries to choose from. Abandoned Rail stands out with high quality unfiltered and unpasteurized balanced beer. We have 12 taps in our boutique lounge, patio and picnic area. Equipped with a 10hl semi-automated brewing system from CRU brewing systems and Twin Monkeys, Gunnisson canner. Our brewmaster, Peter Schulz, is a German certified Brewmaster.

Seasonals:
Seasonal release once per month on average. Ie. Smoke Lager, English IPA, Hazy Pale Ale, Red Hefeweizen, Barrel Aged Bock beers etc...

**Distribution**:
We work with a distribution company located in the Tri-Cities. It will be one the of sales representatives duties to co-ordinate with distribution, evaluate inventory and plan re-stock shipments from Penticton.

**The Position**:

- This job requires someone with a **vehicle** (vehicle expenses provided)
- An ACTIVE knowledge of beer styles and craft beer industry/culture
- The position is full time and has an allocation of 40 hours/week.
- Acquiring new accounts and managing client relationships; establish and maintain a trusting, positive rapport
- Ensuring the customer is satisfied with product and communicating with management and logistics to get them their products on time
- Tracking sales, creating sales report and tracking invoices using provided software

**Pay**:

- $28.50/hr
- Quarterly Bonus $2500, if sales target of 9750L/Quarter is achieved
- Total: $59,000 ($28.50/hr) Salary + 10,000 Bonuses = $70,000/year

**Skills**:

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be a self-starter and disciplined in completing task
- Must possess a high degree of self-motivation and the ability to take initiative
- Beer Sales experience is a **DEALBREAKER**:

- Hospitality experience an asset
- **Must **have good knowledge of beer and beer styles
- Passion about the food and beverage industry

As a Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth by identifying potential customers, building relationships, and closing sales deals. Your ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and provide exceptional customer service will be key to your success.

Pay: $28.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
