Seasonal Groundskeeper

As a Grounds person on our team, you will report to the Property Manager/lead hand and be responsible for most aspects of cemetery care. Your duties will include landscape maintenance (grass cutting and weeding), grounds maintenance, memorial and monument installations, and customer service. You will do rewarding work while enjoying the outdoors, and you’ll go home knowing your efforts helped to create a special place that is appreciated by many. Established in 1960, Glenwood has approximately 40 developed acres and is presently performing 400 interments annually. The property includes a funeral home and an administration and sales office on site

Successful applicants would be, but not limited to care of shrub and flower beds, grass maintenance, weed whipping of memorial markers, maintenance of memorial stones and any other necessary tasks. Working with full time employees as necessary. Previous experience in landscape, golf course or cemetery maintenance would be considered an asset. Employees must have a class 5 drivers license and the ability to lift 50 Lbs.

**Salary**: From $17.25 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
