**The Role**

Entertainment Managers at Gibbons Whistler are responsible for curating and delivering an exceptional entertainment experience aligned with our brand, venue, and company vision. As a key figure in the entertainment landscape, these individuals perform as DJs, manage entertainment operations, and assist with overall venue management during quieter periods.

**Responsibilities**:
**DJ Performances (4-5 Days per Week, Seasonal)**:

- Deliver engaging DJ sets aligned with Gibbons’ brand and venue ambiance, adapting to crowd energy while maintaining signature sound.

**Artist Support & Event Coordination**:

- Provide technical and logístical support to headline artists during events.
- Contribute to planning and executing special events to enhance guest experiences.

**Music Curation & Set Management**:

- Curate music that reflects Gibbons’ brand and venue identity.
- Record, archive, and manage daily DJ sets for quality assurance and future use.

**Equipment Setup, Maintenance, & Inventory**:

- Set up, break down, and maintain DJ and sound equipment.
- Inspect and clean equipment, including lighting and special effects systems, and coordinate repairs or replacements.
- Conduct bi-weekly inventory checks and manage stock levels for consumables.

**Venue Operations (Non-DJing Times)**:

- Support floor management, staff supervision, and guest interactions to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service.
- Assist with opening/closing procedures, inventory management, and cross-department coordination.

**Problem Solving & Collaboration**:

- Work closely with venue management to align entertainment with event schedules and business objectives.
- Address customer concerns and operational challenges proactively and professionally.

**Requirements**:

- Experience as a professional DJ, able to excite and engage a crowd.
- Strong understanding of sound equipment and technical setups, with the ability to troubleshoot and manage equipment in real-time.
- Knowledge of music trends and the ability to curate playlists that align with the Gibbons Whistler brand.
- Ability to work collaboratively with headline artists, technical teams, and venue staff.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and late-night events as needed.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset to handle both entertainment and operational challenges.

**Salary and Team Perks**:

- $75,000-$85,000 depending on venue and experience.
