Mechanical Startup Lead

**Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent. Minimum 10 years start-up experience for a similar facility, preferably in supervisory role. Position requires excellent communications skills. EEO/Minorities/Females/Disabled/VeteransThe Mechanical CSU Engineer is responsible for all plant mechanical equipment. The engineer is the primary point of contact for all systems mechanical function through startup and operation of the plant. Activities include but are not limited to:Verify mechanical systems installed per design**

**Confirm design operational feasibility**
**Perform field engineering changes**

**Record as built engineering changes on drawingsPerform initial operation flushing, testing and tuning for each system.**
**Ensure proper setup and testing of mechanical equipment as per supplier requirements**
**Verify mechanical equipment is operating at system design requirements.**
**In conjunction with the Foreman coordinate Mechanical Fitter and Mill Wright activities**
**Track, record and report progress on assigned systems**
**Maintain plant turnover documentation**
**Support plant operation**
**Cover chemical engineer responsibilities in absence of Chemical SU Engineer or as assigned.**

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 8 months
